Ok I need a little help. I've got a JT-30 that's got what I think is a 151 element in it but I can't be sure. I not as versed in IDing them as others so here's where you come in.

I know from Dave's page (http://www.greenbulletmics.com), thanks Dave for all the valuable info........that they broke the original mold for the 151's sometime in the late 70's to early 80's and the only other identifier is a little white sticker that says 151 on it.......I have no sticker BUT there is residue on the back of the element where a sticker most likely would have been...............any guesses if I do infact have a 151 in it? Tone doesn't help since I can't hear worth a damn anymore....... Smile

The black face indicates crystal. At least in my experience, I've never seen a 127 with a black face. Hope this helps!

Thanks Tim.......I had another mic guru confirm the same thing.......very smooth................I think it fell into the black hole of "broken mold......use anyway....put a sticker on it........" So it was driving me nuts..........
