Greg Heuman Custom Mic

Well............I finally got around to getting some pics of it.............she's a beauty for sure.............  Greg simply out-did himself this time.  www.blowsmeaway.com

It is made from a piece of curly maple, Greg said it has such a unique grain pattern, the pics don't do it justice.  When you look at it in the light, the grain has kinda a hologram look to it.  To be honest, I've never seen anything like it.  It's just amazing.  It has a smokin' hot Shure element installed........I've always been a big fan of the 99S556 dual impedence elements.......and this one is no exception..........she's hotter than a fire cracker........  If you look real close to the back of the shell, you'll see that it has the "Stealth" volume control.  The volume contol is part of the shell..........when you have the VC turned to max, the grain matches up perfectly..........and she comes in at a whopping 6.3 ozs including the 1/4" adaptor and aluminum grille.

Playable art is the best description I can give about this one.........playable art.............THANKS GREG (www.blowsmeaway.com)

Glad you like it, Jeff - that was one surprising and cool piece of wood. The next mic from that block of wood is on the lathe now, and will become Jimi Lee's. It looks like it will do the same thing....  He saw yours and really liked it.

Cheers
