Pedals?

Hello all...I have noticed more players are using pedals to enhance their sound. I have noticed 3 that seem to be very popular...Danecho DE1, Boss DD3 & Electro Harmonix Holy Grail.  What are the advantages/disadvantages? Any info would be helpful...Thanks!

You didn't mention it but if you're thinking about the DD3 or the DanEcho you really should consider the Lone Wolf harp delay pedal. (http://www.lwharpamps.com/delay.html)

I used the DanEcho for 4 years, kicked it off the amp when I heard this pedal. It is the only one that was designed specifically for harp to begin with - so it has a higher impedance input (good for crystal elements in particular, but good for everything) and warm tone. You can speed the delay up enough to get more of a reverb sound if you want. The DanEcho has a bunch of useless settings but not enough good ones. Plus - Randy (Lone Wolf) is one of the good guys.

I have a Dan Echo and like it alot. Yep, have heard a Lone Wolf delay pedal at one of our club meetings ( James Turner brought it, and I think Brian Purdy had one with him also) and it sounded good. But on a "poor boys" budget, I think the DanEcho has the best analog simulation for the price. Between $30-$40 real nice condition on ebay.

I'm with Greg on the Lone Wolf Delay.  I never used any effects except for my Premier 90 tube reverb before I bought the LW,  and I absolutely love the variety of sounds that I can get from all of my amps now...especially the low powered ones.  I'll probably try the Tone+ Pedal next, as I'm quite impressed with both Randy and his products.
