What transformer for 50 ohm dynamic element?The American D5 has a 50 ohm dynamic element. The transformer in the mic has deteriated. What transformer will be a good match? Thank you very much. |

The transformer in a Shure A95 IMT has two low impedance inputs. There are 3 wires on the input side - yellow, green and orange. I'm pretty sure the orange lead is for 50 ohm, can't remember if you pair it with the green or the yellow but easy enough to just try and find out.
